Every project has added another layer to the way I design. From visual identities and interfaces to content systems and developer collaboration, each experience has gradually shifted my focus from creating individual artefacts to improving the way digital experiences are designed, built and maintained.
I'm most engaged when a project extends beyond the interface itself: defining content structures, refining workflows and helping ideas move from concept to implementation. Designing the interface is only part of the work. I enjoy making the whole design process clearer, smoother and easier for everyone involved.
LuisaViaRoma is one of the world's leading luxury retailers and a pioneer of fashion e-commerce, and an iconic Florentine store where my grandmother used to take my mother shopping for special occasions. There, I worked within the creative team designing communication across digital and physical touchpoints: from the e-commerce platform and app to newsletters, editorial content, retail materials, and corporate communication. Alongside creative production, I managed website and app updates, ensuring consistency across channels.

Beintoo, now part of the Mediaset Group, was among Italy's early innovators in mobile advertising. My work focused on designing rich media experiences for mobile adv across a wide range of international brands, alongside digital campaign assets including animated banners, landing pages, newsletters, social media content, and video editing. I also collaborated closely with developers on interactive dashboards for campaign monitoring and led creative production for RCS - Corriere della Sera campaigns.

Volunteering as graphic designer at Sambhali Trust, Jodhpur: an NGO supporting women’s education and empowerment in Rajasthan. Produced visual materials, social communication, and on-the-ground documentation. One of three volunteering experiences that have shaped how I think about design as a tool for inclusion, long before that word became a brand strategy.

Final project for the Polimoda Fashion Design Summer Course. Inspired by the layered structures of marine life and the protective logic of Japanese armor, I developed the concept through research, sketching, draping and iterative prototyping. The outcome was an architectural garment where a rigid outer shell reveals a fluid pleated interior through movement: a reminder that the final result is shaped by the process behind it.

View full case studyInterviews, cross-industry benchmarking, and heuristic evaluation revealed a consistent pattern: users felt overwhelmed and rarely decided in a single session. They wanted control and the ability to return without losing context.

A validated experience that gives users the means to explore and decide at their own pace, while generating more qualified leads for the business.

In the early 90s, before graphical interfaces became commonplace, I used to type DOS commands by hand to launch my older brother's video games, like Populous and Prince of Persia, on my father's computer. The 8 bit princess character is a small nod to a time when computers felt mysterious, and every new command was learned slowly, one game over at a time.
The bande dessinée character is a small tribute to Marjane Satrapi and Persepolis, which I first read in 2005. Until then, my image of Persia had been shaped largely by the ancient Greek texts we translated in high school, usually stories of faraway wars and foreign enemies. Satrapi's work introduced me to a more contemporary and everyday perspective on Persian culture, making a distant world feel unexpectedly familiar.
